XNA xBox 360 Console Spec's And System Information

The XNA xBox 360 Console is called a "Dev Kit" or a Developer's Kit. The XNA Console was thought to be @ first made available to the general public. Later to only find out that the console is a developers console and only given to "Registered Game Developers and software Developers of the xBox 360 console and Microsofts creation team. XNA Dev kit was valued between the range of $8,000 to $20,000 USD and none are available on the open market both publicly and Developer wise.

XNA Console offered up numerous differences between it and the xBox 360 console's at the time of its creation. The xBox's available to the public only had so much RAM or DDRAM on both the consoles side and the Graphic Processor and CPU/GPU. With one gigabyte of system RAM, and a whole lot of other features the XNA xBox 360 console blew out other xBox 360's and was the envy of the xBox community. There is not a lot of information out there about this console. What you will find is tons of miscellaneous articles about it from different xBox sites to MTV itself.

The information gathered by me and put here is what I've found and researched on, including personal contact within the xBox community who have had a deal or contact with the XNA xBox 360 Console. I call it the XNA Console because of the LOGO Name on the Upper Right hand side of the Hard Drive housing and the other logo's placed On the Console itself. I find this Console to be very intriguing both in its appearance and what it offered Software, And Hardware wise.

As you can see the xBox 360 Console is really just a Gaming PC made readily available and built by Microsoft to service it's Gaming Sector of its company. The xBox 360 Console we play the only difference would be the Hard drive size. The Arcade models, The Pro Models And The Elite Models all service are needs but only are different because of the Hard Drive size with the Elite being black and coming with Black Controllers And Head set.

The XNA xBox 360 Console was made to service and allow Developer's to run multiple tools in the background while creating and writing script for their games and or services. Currently the only differences between the two consoles, The xBox 360 and the XNA xBox 360 Console is the Amount of RAM and Hard Drive space. So the XNA Console is the xBox 360 Elite just with One Gigabyte of Ram And different software for allowing Developing of xBox 360 games and tools.

As you can see the XNA xBox 360 Console doesn't differentiate that much just the amount of RAM both in itself and Video Processor or Supped up to the next level. For me the XNA xBox 360 Console should have been made available to the public but directly from Microsoft itself and for more than the normal $299 or $399 of the Elite consoles being made at the time.
